Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Sarab handles information when you use Rattib, a local-first freelancer workspace. The operator is Sarab.

What we collect

If you use Rattib without an account, your work stays in this browser on your device. Sarab does not receive that local workspace.

If you create an account, we store your email, your name, and a password hash. We also store the session cookies that keep you signed in, and any synced workspace data you choose to sync.

If you buy a paid plan, our reseller Paddle.com sells it to you and processes the payment under its own privacy policy. It sends us your subscription status, such as whether the plan is active and when the paid period ends. We never receive or store your card number.

Local and cloud data

Most data stays in the browser’s localStorage on your device. Clearing site data or using private browsing can remove it. That local data is not on Sarab’s server unless you sync it.

Account data, and optional synced workspace data, are stored on a server hosted with Namecheap. The account system is served from https://api.sarabhub.me.

Service providers

We use the following providers to run the site and the service:

Site hosting: GitHub Pages. It serves the pages on sarabhub.me and may log your IP address and request details when it does.
Account and API hosting: a server hosted with Namecheap, as described above.
Payment partner: sells paid plans and processes payment and any applicable sales tax or VAT. We receive your subscription status from it, not your card details.
Email delivery provider: sends account messages, such as email verification and password reset.
Google Fonts: the Rattib web app and a few other pages, including the Access page, load typefaces from Google Fonts. When they do, your browser requests the font files from Google’s servers, so Google receives your IP address and the usual request details. The homepage, the Rattib product page, the Brand page, this Privacy Policy and the Terms do not load Google Fonts.
YouTube: if you add a YouTube video as a Focus background, it is embedded from YouTube’s privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com) when you use it.

Cookies

Rattib sets one kind of cookie: the essential sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in to your account. Sign-in does not work without it.

We do not use advertising cookies or analytics cookies today.

Third parties run the payment partner’s checkout and any YouTube video you add as a Focus background, and they may set their own cookies under their own policies.

How we use email

Email we send is limited to account and transactional messages, such as email verification and password reset. It is sent from company@sarabhub.me over SMTP. We do not use your email for marketing lists.

Google sign-in

Google sign-in is not available yet. It is coming soon.

When it is available, we will request only the openid, email, and profile scopes. We will use them to recognize you and to store the account email and name. We will not request any other Google scope, and we will not use Google data for advertising.

Retention

We keep account data and optional synced workspace data for as long as the account exists. Data that stayed on your device remains there until you clear it from the browser.

If a paid plan ends, the hosted copy of your workspace is kept read-only and exportable for 30 days, and then deleted. This matches the Terms of Service.

If you ask us to delete your account, we delete the account data and the synced copy. Payment records held by the payment partner are kept under its own rules and what the law requires of it.

Your rights

You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, export it or delete it, and you can object to how we use it. To make a request, email company@sarabhub.me. We respond within 30 days. We may need to confirm that the account is yours before we act on a request.

You can remove local data from your device by clearing this site’s data in the browser. We cannot delete data that stayed only on your device, because it is not on our server.

Children

Rattib is not directed at anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect account information from anyone under 16. If you believe someone under 16 has created an account, email company@sarabhub.me and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, the last-updated date at the top of this page will change.
